Dr. Dogan Atlas has more than 30 years of experience on product design, development, and commercialization of optical fiber communication components and modules, Telecom and Datacom transceiver modules that utilize photonics ICs, electrical ICs, DSP ASICs, and modern digital communication engineering technologies. At Broadband International, Dr. Atlas and his team are responsible for the continued development of the next-generation Cable Broadband and PON access products.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Atlas held leadership roles at Cisco, Fujitsu, ADVA, and ARRIS (ANTEC), developing PAM4 Optical Transceiver Modules for Data Centers; 400G QAM Coherent Optical Transceivers, Optical Amplifiers, and Wavelength Switching Line Cards for long-haul, metro, and access DWDM networks; and RF/Optical Transceiver and Amplifiers for the cable industry.
Dr. Atlas currently has 23 U.S. and European patents issued and published, and over 40 published journal and conference papers. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
